Evaluation:
I think this project went really well. I set out to create messed up and disrupted images and over the process have developed a lot of skills and techniques in the duration of this project. I've feel my photography skills have improved over the project as I hadn't done any portrait photography. I've created I wide range of images using different styles and techniques. I feel my pieces relate to the title of the project 'Personal Comment'. There is still a lot of techniques that I want to develop further. I wanted to experiment more with glitch art and data moshing. I also after find the work of 'Heitor Magno' and 'Leche di Mipalo' has inspired me to create more complicated and detailed glitch art. This project has allowed me to learn a lot of different techniques and have better knowledge of what you can do with digital photography and Photoshop. Over the summer and for my first project in A2 I'm going to continue with glitch art and video. To improve for my next project i'm going to do a lot more shoots as I felt there weren't enough in this project. I also want to take portrait shots in the studio as I haven't done much of that before. I prefer natural lighting but working in the studio gives me full control over lighting and there is not external factors like such as wind that can get in. To improve for my next project I'm going to look at doing at least one shoot a week. I am also looking to invest in either or both a better body camera or a better lens to improve the quality of my photos. I'm also going to start experimenting with film photography. I really love the effects film can give but haven't had time in this project to experiment with it because it takes a lot of time just to do and develop 1 shoot. I also wanted to further develop my skills with digital photography. In summary I'm happy with what I've created in this project but am very eager to continue experimenting and creating glitch art photography and video in my personal time and for my A2 project.
