21) roxanne edits and gifs

I was really pleased with this shoot and decided to do some edits of them.

This is one of my favourites from the shoot. I asked the model to line up with the tree and I thought it looked really nice all the branches expanding out from her head. I also really love the barrier behind the tree combining an urban element to what would look like a natural environment.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I opened up the video in Photoshop by going to 'File' > 'Import' 'Video frames to Layers'. This split my video into frames so that I can edit them individually. I had already choose what part of the video I wanted to use to I went to a bit before and a bit after it and deleted all the frames before and after it. After this I was left with about a 30 frame clip. I also deleted the layers that I deleted the frames off so that my layers panel wasn't clustered with stuff I didn't need. I then used a range of adjustments to correct the colours of the video. I then cut down the frames that I felt I didn't need to make the clip tighter. When I was happy with my gif I then saved it as a PSD file so that I could go back and edit it if I needed to, but to save it as a GIF I went to 'File' > 'Save for Web and devices'. I lowered the width of the image to 500 pixels as I that was I recommended size for websites to use. This brought it to under 1mb which was around the size I was aiming for. This was good because I didn't how to lower any of the colours and loose quality.

This is another one I did using the same technique.

These two are the same but I changed the delay to 0.2 seconds instead of 0.1 to make them slower. I chose to do these as noticed playing it as a preview was faster than playing it in this blog for example. I really like both versions to be honest.
