1) initial research

Title - 'Personal Comment' 

I chose this title as I wanted to create portrait shoots that had some meaning as in my previous project it was all landscape and architecture photography.

I was unsure where to start with the exam unit so I collected images off my Tumblr that I liked which I felt I wanted to gain ideas from and replicate/create a similar style of work.

A lot of the images have dark lighting and the main colour from most of them is green or blue. I felt these images had an essence of emptiness, loneliness and self reflection, this was part of the reason I liked these image as they had a dark, gloomy, empty feel to them. I felt this was a subject I was interested in and that I could explore.
